Eaglecrest Alaska Missions is now accepting applications from individuals interested in serving in 2013 This is a short term missionary assignment, and applicants must be willing to raise their own financial support. We are currently seeking applications for the following positions:
Lead with consistency Eaglecrest Alaska Missions spiritual leadership goals. Encourage participants and staff to step out into the realm of risk with their unique gifts God has blessed them with in serving others. The Spiritual leader will have a principal role in closing each day around the campfire utilizing our devotional guide and where spiritual aspects of the day are discussed drawing each individual closer to our God!
Demonstrate Jesus love to youth attending our Friday Family Night Cookout. You will be the only Bible some of these youth ever read. When possible meet their Parents and obtain permission to follow up during the week. Follow up with youth attending Vacation Bible School with the goal of having them attend a Church.

Lead EAM participants on community service building trades work projects. Honoring God with quality of work is essential. The work could include but not limited to home construction, remodeling, weatherization or other building projects in most cases without prints. Estimating and procurement of materials may also be part of the project.

Maintain Eaglecrest Campus facilities to the Glory of GOD. Including, but not limited to Buildings, Lawn, Flower Beds Recreational Equipment, Vehicles, etc. Responsible for administering contract with Alpine Historical Park. Schedule and Lead Community Service Landscape maintenance program honoring God and individuals we serve.

Maintain EAM vehicles in peak condition to insure the safety of EAM participants and staff. Preventative maintenance is critical. The Mechanic must be able to diagnosis potential problems and make repairs. Perform weekly inspections on all vehicles and maintain inspection reports. Maintain maintenance records on all vehicles. The mechanic needs to be reliable, work well independently, and be trusted to accomplish the task in a timely manner. The Mechanic will keep the workspace organized.
Flexible schedule as needed to keep all vehicles operating at peak performance.
Mechanic may also lead community service projects.

Coordinate all campus food service activities. Review menus and analyze recipes insuring healthy and quality meals are being served. Plan food utilization based on anticipated number of individuals on campus. Estimate food and beverage consumption to determine quantities required and purchase. Preparation of at least one meal per day. Schedule, with staff assistance preparation of meals and assign duties. Review with church team leader any special requirements. Co-ordinate Friday Night Cookout supplies. Maintain the kitchen in a sanitary and healthy condition.

Organize, Prepare, Serve, and Clean up including dishes one meal 7 days a week 5 hours per day as determined by the Food Services Leader’s menu and recipes. Maintain the kitchen and eating area in a sanitary and healthy condition.

The Media Tech will serve EAM by providing comprehensive media services, recording camp activities, posting highlights and pictures daily to Facebook, creating DVD’s from the week activities for EAM participants to take home. The Media Tech must focus on the use of media to share the message of EAM’s ministry. Communicating our ministry is critical.

Recreation leaders plan, organize and direct EAM recreational and cultural activities. Ensure that a wide range of recreational and cultural activities are available. Review with group leaders recreational and cultural activities available to them. Prepare Group plan and schedule. Recreation leaders must have the ability to inspire, hold the interest, communicate, and interact effectively with participants.
Schedule drivers for transportation to recreational and cultural activities.

An administrative assistant is a support professional. The individual performs all basic office tasks in an effort to assist the EAM Team Facilitator’s office run smoothly. The individual is generally the first point of contact to individuals seeking the Team Facilitator. The Individual must be incredibly detail-oriented, not letting anything fall through the cracks, with wonderful interpersonal skills. Quality of work is very important.
Types of Projects: Provide weekly financial information to EAM treasurer, Insure we have on file in Alaska team member’s individual applications. Each week assign staff, team members to be praying for. Maintain records of apparel sales and insure adequate inventory. Pick up from and deliver mail to post office.
